Born in Gisborne, New Zealand to a Family who are no strangers in the music
industry, Dors (Doreen) Tuapawa grew up where music was an everyday part of life
and everyone was blessed with wonderful singing voices.
Performing since the age of nine, Dors has had a strong background in the Maori performing arts and has appeared with the world renowned “Waihirere Maori Culture Club”. After success in New Zealand with “Birds of Paradise”, she moved to Australia and formed the popular Brisbane, all girl group “3 Times a Lady”. Dor’s has performed as session and backup singer for many shows including “Pink Floyd Dark Side of the Moon Tour” and John Rowles.
